Pearlescent skin.
Emerald eyes
just like his.
He wiped the blood
from his mouth
and became a man.
He changed for her.
He became the Huntsman
and denied everything he was.
Everything that was his nature.
He hid the wolf inside...for her.
He did everything for her.
He even showed her a hidden path
where all the flowers
were in constant bloom.
He looked away for a moment
and she ran away from him.
She left without saying why.
She didn’t listen to his warnings.
Don't stray from the path he said.
Red was lost,
and she blamed him.
That's what she had been taught,
blame the wolf.
